Charcoal filters, also referred to as carbon filters, are added to the airflow in a cooker hood to filter out and remove the bad smells when you use your hood in recirculating mode. You don’t need to use charcoal filters if your hood scenario allows the ducting of air outside.

The Altimo CF005 is supplied as a single filter as just one is needed for each application, fixed in front of the motor assembly. For best results change your charcoal filter regularly (depending on usage levels) and never get it wet.
