Charcoal filters, also referred to as carbon filters, are added to the airflow in a cooker hood to filter out and remove the bad smells when you use your hood in recirculating mode. You don’t need to use charcoal filters if your hood scenario allows the ducting of air outside.

The Altimo CF004 are supplied as a pair and you need a pair for each application, one on each side of the motor assembly. For best results change your charcoal filters regularly (depending on usage levels) and never get them wet.
